Manchester City’s 2009-10 football kits will be manufactured by Umbro for the 2009-10 season after they took over the sponsorship of the Man City shirts from Le Coq Sportif.
The attached image has not yet been confirmed, but appears to be a mockup of the new look Man City kit for the new season. Our opinion is that it is a marked improvement from the 2008-09 home shirt and possibly the nicest shirt City have had for many a year.
One notable point is that Ethard Airways are taking over the sponsorship of the Manchester City football shirts after their deal with Thomas Cook ran out.

i think its awful… the richest club in the world being sponsored by umbro…. no offence to umbro… they did make nice jerseys this season but never ever before hav they made a nice jersey and its not gona continue.. the stripes on the side are awfull adn pointless.. umbro sign is well out of place and i dont plan on buying it when it comes out.

I have no problem with the new company umbro but i think the jersey pictured is diabolicaly awful. I think umbro need to think more like the new England jersey for Manchester city.
its a fake seen it months ago and the crest is ment to be different next season.
This is not the real shirt, look on the mcfc website on the latest news and read the City & Umbro announce groundbreaking partnership article, there are small glimpses of the new kit! it looks nothing like this.
I think this style shirt is quite similar to the old shirt sponsored by Eidos dont you think?
Umbro, ok people have their personal preferences but lets face it, umbro seel sportswear all over the place like hot cakes, i wear umbro, as many many people do so that should not pose any Fashion Statement threat.
The blue i feel seems a little darker than the last, City are sky blue, yet we have used all varied shades.
The crest has been re-mastered ready for the next season, same look but more detailed to mark City’s identity.

That is not the new man city kit you muppets. Proper fans would do some research and learn that the new kit is the business. For a start it is round neck, tailored and has a quality cut. Yes they are sponsored by umbro but that kit above was clearly made in bangkok
not a great kit, not our best. i have seen photos of another version which looks alot better – gone back to our 1960/1970s winning days. Very vintage and very nice – plain and simple. this one is a load of rubbish though. Glad we went back to umbro though :)

AT WEST HAM WE’VE HAD A LOAD OF PROBLEMS WITH THEM NOT GETTING ENOUGH SHIRTS OUT IN CERTAIN SIZES FOR PUBLIC DEMAND AND THEY DIDN’T RECTIFY THIS FOR A LONG TIME. HOPE YOUR LOT DON’T HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. BEST OF LUCK THIS SEASON, ALL US THAT DON’T HAVE A CHANCE OF BREAKING THE TOP 4 ARE ROOTING FOR YA. ESPECIALLY NOW YOU HAVE TEVEZ… THE MAN IS A GOD.
