Unirea Urzinceni have been drawn in Group G of the Champions League alongside Sevilla, Stuttgart and Rangers, although not the toughest group in the competition all the teams still have considerable European experience in comparison to the Romanian Champions who will play in the competition for the first time.

Joma manufacture the Unirea football shirts and they have released three for the 2009-10 season.

The Unirea home shirt is blue in colour with gold detailing around the collar and shoulders, the Unirea away shirt is the same template as the home shirt only with the main colour being white and the Unirea 3rd shirt is black with the same gold detailing.
