Ivory Coast have a reasonably good record in the African Nations Cup in recent years with their best finish coming in 2006 when they were second and in 2008 they finished fourth. Ivory Coast have already qualified for the 2010 African Nations Cup and the 2010 World Cup.

Ivory Coast have released their new home and away football kits for 2010/11. The African Nations kits will be manufactured by Puma with the Puma logo in the centre of the chest and on each sleeve.

The Ivory Coast home shirt is bright orange with green detailing on the end of the sleeves and the countries logo of an elephant is on the right shoulder of the shirt. The Ivory Coast away shirt is green, white and orange horizontal stripes with green sleeves and a green right shoulder.
