Universitario de Deportes are the current champions of Peru, a title that they have won 25 times in their history. Universitario were recently voted the most successful Peruvian team of the 20th century.

The Universitario club badge is a red U on a white background which is why the club have the nickname U. The new Universitario shirts are manufactured by Umbro with the designs being very traditional and along the same lines as the new England top.

The new Universitario home shirt is all white and will be accompanied with white shorts and socks and the Universitario away shirt is dark red with matching shorts and socks.
