Club Nacional de Football won the Uruguayan league last season, a title they have won 42 times. The new league season in Uruguay has only recently kicked off with Nacional hoping to retain the league trophy again. In preparation for the new season a new Nacional de Football home kit was released.

The new Nacional home shirt is manufactured by Umbro with their logo appearing on the right chest and on the back of the collar. The Nacional de Football home shirt follows the clubs traditional colours with the main colour being white and the detailing being in red and blue, the club colours has earned them the nickname tricolores.
