Atletico Bolivar are  one of the most successful clubs in Bolivia and won the 2009 Apertura season and are sitting 2nd this season. The club have won the league 16 times and are still in contention to add to that this season.

Atletico Bolivar have released their new home shirt which is manufactured by Puma. The Puma logo will appear on the right chest of the Bolivar home shirt with the club badge appearing on the left. The shirt is a light blue with black piping on the collar and down each side of the shirt. The Atletico Bolivar home shirt is worn with darker blue shorts and light blue socks.
