St Etienne have unveiled their new home shirt for the 2009-10 season.
The club, one of the most successful in the French League – having won the title 10 times – narrowly survived relegation from Ligue 1 after finishing 17th last season.
St Etienne have also lost their shirt sponsor for the new campaign due to the economic crisis. The club had a sponsorship agreement with Konica Minolta running until 2010, and had sponsored the club for 5 years. However, a difficult economic situation meant that the Japanese firm could not honour the deal until its expiry.
The St Etienne football shirts will be manufactured by Adidas.
The new home shirt is much more plain that the 2008/09 home shirt, which had two shades of green. The new shirt will have just one shade of green and no details apart from the traditional Adidas stripes in white, and sewn white details on the chest and sleeves.
