Newcastle will release three new strips for the 2010-11 season with the home shirt being the traditional black and white vertical stripes. The colour of the other two shirts are blue and white, although it they have not been officially released the blue shirt is thought to be the new Newcastle away jersey.

The new Hibs away shirt is mint green with the club logo on the left chest and the Puma logo on the right. The new away shirt will be worn with mint green shorts and dark green socks. It is strange for the away shirts to be the same colour as the home shirt, it is a different shade but it is still green.

Puma manufacture the new Coventry football kits with their logo appearing on the right chest of both shirts. The new Coventry City home jersey is the clubs traditional sky blue colour with white horizontal pinstripes. The collar of the shirt is also white and there are navy patches under each arm. The home shirt will be worn with white shorts and blue socks.

The new Coventry City away shirt is a throwback to the 1970’s shirt that the club used to wear with the shirt being green and black vertical stripes.

Fife Hyland, Commercial & Communications Director Hibernian FC said: “Everyone at the Club is very excited about securing such a high profile and respected Technical Sponsor. Puma is one of the world’s biggest football and sporting brands and the quality of the kit and trainingwear is second to none. The players have been very impressed with the new gear and I am sure the new kits and merchandise will be well received by the supporters. Although new to the PUMA brand, Hibernian already has an excellent working relationship with Genesis from which we will develop exciting ranges and kit over the next three years.

“The Club worked very closely with PUMA on the designs for 10/11, and we believe we have produced a unique mix of the traditional and dynamic across the home and away kits for next season. We will launch the Hibernian FC PUMA 10/11 Away Kit before the end of this season and the new Home Kit in June.”

Newcastle fans had to apply to be at the launch with 300 being picked but unfortunately they will be left disappointed.

A spokesperson from Newcastle said:

“I am sorry to announce that today’s kit photo shoot has unfortunately had to be cancelled.

The recent travel issues resulting from the Icelandic volcano have caused serious logistical problems with the organisation of this launch and Newcastle United has been unable to make alternative arrangements at such short notice and at present there are no plans to reschedule this.

I would like to thank all of you that volunteered to take part in this launch and I am sorry for any disappointment caused as a result of this announcement.”

The new Burnley Centenary home shirt is manufactured by Puma for the first time with their logo on the right chest and the club badge on the left. The new Burnley home shirt is the clubs traditional claret and blue with the body of the shirt claret and the collar and sleeves both blue.

Gremio

The new Gremio home shirt is manufactured by Puma with the Puma logo appearing on the right chest and on both sleeves. The home shirt is the traditional stripes of blue, white and black.

The new Saudi Arabia home shirt is manufactured by Puma with the Puma logo in green on the right chest and on both sleeves. The country logo is on the left chest. The Saudi Arabia home shirt is white with green detailing around the collar of the shirt, the ends of the sleeves and down the sides of the shirt.

Bulgaria

The new Bulgaria away shirt is red with green detailing around the collar, the sleeves and down the sides of the shirts running from the top of the chest. The kit is completed with green shorts with a broad waistband and red socks with white detailing.
