Sporting Clube de Portugal, more commonly known as Sporting Lisbon, have recently released their new home shirt and it is likely to be a favourite amongst supporters. Already with 18 domestic league titles and 15 domestic cup triumphs to their name, the Portuguese side look set to keep improving as they look to challenge many of Europe’s elite clubs in the Europa League. As Pedro Barbosa tries to bring success to this high profile club and city, the shirt seems to have been updated stylishly in order to match the ambition.

STYLE

Sporting Lisbon home jerseys traditionally sport the white and green hoops and this year is no different. However the whole template of the shirt is much improved with the introduction of black indentations, adding extra finesse to the shirt. They run from both shoulders, diagonally into the centre of the top without meeting, giving a more modern look and also feature on the sleeves. The collar is inventive and new whilst Puma has it’s logo on the back of each shoulder in white. However, I feel that the glaring yellow logo on the front provides a slight blemish on what is otherwise a faultless design.

QUALITY

Puma is a well renowned manufacturer and doesn’t disappoint with this Sporting Lisbon shirt. This new template launched for the 2009/10 season is coupled with a comfortable, slick shirt. For anyone looking to add a name and/or number, they will be printed in a smart font and in white. Overall, the shirt gives the impression that it represents a top club and one that Sporting Lisbon truly warrants.

VALUE FOR MONEY

The quality is great, the design is highly professional and this shirt is recommended to any Sporting fans and followers. It seems clear that this Sporting Lisbon home kit is definitely a bright addition to the European scene for football shirts. Much improved from previous years!

Buy Nike FC Porto away football kit 09-10

FC Porto have qualified for the Champions League by winning the Portuguese title. Porto have just released their new away shirt which will be manufactured by Nike.

The new Porto Away shirt will be bright orange with a blue collar and blue detailing around the sleeves. The new away kit will be worn with orange shorts and socks.

New Porto home football shirt 2009-10

FC Porto are the current Portuguese champions and are preparing for the 2009-10 season where they will be hoping to retain their title. In preparation for this Porto have released their new home kit.

The new Porto home kit will be manufactured by Nike with the Nike logo appearing to the right chest and the club badge on the left.

The New Porto home shirt is blue and white stripes with a white collar and white sleeves.The home shirt will be worn with blue shorts and blue socks.

New Adidas Benfica away shirt 2009-10

Benfica have just unveiled their new away shirt for 2009-10 and it is to be manufactured by Adidas. As you would expect form Adidas their badge is just below the collar in the centre and the traditional three stripes will be on te sleeves.

The new Benfica away kit is mostly black with red detailing. The Adidas stripes on the sleeves are red and there are two red lines running down the shirt from the collar.The away kit will also be worn with black shorts and socks with red detailing.
