Real Madrid also officially unveiled their new Away shirt for the 2010-11 season. Adidas are again the shirt manufacturers for Real Madrid with their logo appearing on the right chest and the club badge on the left. The colour of the new Real Madrid away jersey is mostly navy with lime green detailing on the collar and down the sides of the shirt. There is also lines coming from the Real Madrid badge like sun rays.

There are sure to be a good number of players arriving at Real Madrid this season with a number of top players also expected to leave the club so we will have to wait and see who will be pulling on the new Real Madrid jerseys next season but with Jose Mourinho managing the club the expectation levels at a club who always expect to win just got even greater.

The new 2010-11 Real Madrid home shirt has appeared online but whether or not this is the final product we will have to wait and see but even if it is not it probably won’t be too far off with the Real Madrid home jersey changing very little year to year.

The leaked pictures of the new Real Madrid home shirt show the traditional white shirt only this time the Adidas stripes are in blue as is the detailing just at the collar.

Bwin currently sponsor the Real Madrid football kits and have signed a new deal until 2013 with the fee said to be around 20 million Euros per season which more than beats any other previous Sponsorship deal.

Both Real Madrid and Bwin both had their big names at the announcement of the new deal with both sides expressing their happiness about the new deal.

The new Real Madrid Champions League shirt will have the club badge on the left, the stadium badge on the right and the manufactures logo, Adidas, just below the collar in the centre.

The new Real Madrid Champions League kit is black or dark grey in colour, the reports have not yet been fully confirmed,  with gold Adidas stripes on the shoulder. The Adidas logo will also be in gold.

It has been confirmed that Ronaldo will wear the number 9 at Real Madrid as his traditional 7 is still worn by club legend Raul. In the first two hours after the unveiling of the player and his number the club sold over 3000 number 9 Cristiano Ronaldo shirts, going on to completely sell out of their stock that day.

Ronaldo looks like being an extremely popular player with the Real Madrid fans, which is not surprising really since he is the worlds most expensive player at £80 million.

The new Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez a very popular figure with the Real Madrid fabs described Roanldo as one of the Worlds greatest ever players and he will be hoping that Ronaldo can bring the kind of success to Madrid that he enjoyed whilst playing for Manchester United.

Then there are two yellow lines which run from the top of the shirt at the front below the head in opposite direction to the sleeves.  I have not seen this in a shirt before either.  Adidas are the makers of the makers of this shirt and normally you see trends from one Adidas shirt to another, but I can’t see the yellow line and the lack of a neck line in any other shirt.  I am not complaining though, I think it is good to have a shirt with unique touches to it.

Real Madrid will have some catching up to do in the new season with their arch rivals Barcelona having run away with the league the previous season and also with Barca winning the Champions League.  But it looks like Real will be mounting a strong challenge under new management and with new players coming in of the calibre of Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo, so it should be an entertaining season for La Liga fans.  No doubt those two players will be popular names on the back on the shirt.
