We have today received images of the new Lyon home shirt for the 2009-10 Ligue 1 season.

After years of dominating the French League, Lyon relinquished their grip on the title to Bordeaux last season and have since lost influential playmaker Juninho, who has left the club.

Despite this, Lyon jerseys remain one of the best selling football shirts in European football.

The new Lyon home shirt is manufactured by Umbro. The shirt has a white base colour, with the horizontal red and blue stripe in the middle. The logo of Umbro appears on the top-right of the shirt in blue. The main sponsor of the shirts is Novotel, and its logo is blue and placed just above the stripe.
