Romania unfortunately failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup finishing second bottom of their group. It  is safe to say that it wasn’t the best World Cup qualifying campaign they ever had but now they are preparing for the 2012 European qualifiers and have been drawn against France, Bosnia, Belarus, Albania and Luxembourg.  Romania have released the new home shirt that they will wear during qualification.

The new Romania home shirt is manufactured by Adidas with the Adidas logo appearing in gold just below the collar and on the sleeves in the traditional three stripes. The new Romania home shirt is red in colour with cold detailing on the collar. Traditionally the home shirt for Romania has been a yellow or gold colour but this year they have decided to change things around a bit.
