Anderlecht play in the top league in Belgium and finished second last season after being defeated in a play-off by Standard Liege after both teams finished with equal points. Anderlecht are the most successful team in Belgium football.

Anderlecht have released their new Adidas away kit for the 2009-10 season. The new away kit will have the Adidas logo just below the collar, the club badge on the left chest and their sponsors logo on the right.

The new Anderlecht away football shirt is two shades of purple stripes going horizontally across the shirt. The sleeves are dark purple and have the traditional three Adidas stripes in white, with the collar also being white.
