Necaxa enjoyed glory during the 1990’s winning the league 3 times but last season they were relegated to the Liga de Ascenso which is the second division in Mexican football.

Necaxa have released their new home shirt for the 2009-10 season which will be manufactured by Voit. The new Necaxa home shirt is the clubs traditional red and white stripes and has green detailing on the sleeves, collar and across the shoulders.

The back of the home shirt is mainly white where the name and number will go but has a sponsor at the top and bottom at the back as well as in the middle of the front.
