Ahead of next summers 2010 World Cup Finals, the Argentinian Football Association (AFA) have today presented the new Argentina home shirt to the world’s media.
The Argentina football shirts are manufactured by Adidas and will be one of the best selling soccer jerseys at the FIFA World Cup finals next year.
The Argentina kits retain the traditional blue and white stripes of the Argentine national team - a famous combination worn over the years by legends including Claudio Cannigia, Gabriel Batistuta and current coach Diego Maradona.
The new 10/12 Home shirt shows similarity to the Shirt worn at the World Cup 86 in Mexico.
The designer himself acknowledged that it is a retro design, and took inspiration from the legendary shirt worn by Maradona at the World Cup 86.
