Veracruz play in the second tier of Mexican football the Liga de Ascenso. The club, nicknamed the red sharks because of the shark on their club crest, finished 4th in the table last season making it to the play-offs only to be beaten in the semi finals in and remain in their current league.
For the 2010 season Joma are the shirt manufacturers for Veracruz producing three new shirts for the club. The Joma logo appears on the right chest and on the sleeves with the club badge appearing right in the centre of the chest.
The new Veracruz home shirt is red with a blue section running across the shoulders and down the left sleeve. There is also a navy panel running down each side of the shirt. The new Veracruz away and 3rd shirts follow the same template only with different base colours. The Veracruz away shirt is white with red ad navy across the top and the Veracruz 3rd shirt is navy with red across the top.
