Yokohama F Marinos are one of the most successful J-LEague teams having won the league three times and having finished second twice. The club last won the league in 2004 and will be hoping to drastically improve on their 10th place finish last season.

The new Yokohama F Marinos home shirt is manufactured by Nike with their logo on the right chest and the club badge on the left. The main colour of the home shirt is blue with a white V coming from the shoulders of the shirt. The collar of the shirt is red and the end of the sleeves is also red.
