JEF United Chiba were relegated to the second tier of Japanese football after 44 years in the top division. This is the first time in their history they have dropped down to the lower league and will be hoping for a quick return to the top division which they have won twice.

New JEF United Chiba football shirts have been released for the 2010 season with Kappa manufacturing the shirts . The new JEF United Chiba home shirt is yellow with the Kappa logo on the shoulders in green, the home kit is completed with yellow shorts and yellow socks.

The new JEF United Chiba away shirt is white with a green and yellow stripe running down the left hand side of the shirt. There is also green detailing on the end of the sleeves. The shorts of the away kit are green and the socks white. The JEF United Chiba 3rd shirt follows the same template as the home only the colour is green.
