Carlos Tevez has signed for Manchester City after failing to agree a permanent deal with Manchester United. Tevez is the latest in a line of big money signings for the club and it has been announced that Tevez will wear the number 32 shirt next season.

Tevez enjoyed two very successful seasons at Manchester United winning th league both season, the Champions League one and getting to the final the second year. Man City are hoping that signing players of Tevez quality that they will be able to get a get into the Champions League.

Manchester Ciy, although spending big this summer, have struggled to attract a bi name to the club. Last season after the Abu Dhabi Group took control of the club they signed Robinho which was thought to be the first of many top name signings, but until the capture of Tevez it had been a frustrating transfer window with the club being unable to sign a lot of the big names they were attempting to sign.

The fee for Tevez is thought to be arounf £25 million which was paid to his owners MSI group, it is a lot of money for the player but he has a proven record in the Premiership that adds a lot to his value.
