Diadora are the current kit manufacturers for the Scottish national team but due to the company going into liquidation Diadora will no longer manufacture the new Scotland football shirts.
Adidas has stepped into the fold and will be the new shirt manufacturers for Scotland although the national team will continue to wear the Diadora shirts until the end of the World Cup qualifying campaign even though their contract with the manufacturer has now been terminated.
The Diadora deal had been worth £1million a year to the Scotland national team but it is believed that the new deal with Adidas is much better than this and they will benefit from the deal with the sportswear giants.
Adidas manufacture kits for some of the biggest nations including Spain, France, Germany, Japan, Argentina and Russia so they are in very good company.
