The latest Everton home shirt is a must-have for any Toffee-fanatics out there. After finishing just outside the top 4 last season, the merseysiders will be looking to add extra firepower to help them break into England’s somewhat elusive, elite. However, the goals and guile that ever-present, Tim Cahill provides, will make this shirt hugely favourable among fans. His outstanding work rate seems to really inspire the supporters and he has become a cult-hero around Goodison Park over recent years.
STYLE
The shirt retains the familiar blue theme, however it incorporates a white V coming down from the round neck collar, to the top of the sponsors logo. This is an unusual technique to use on a shirt and may seem disruptive to the traditional look, but I believe its striking nature definitely makes the top stand out. The main sponsor, ‘Chong’ is once again present across the front of the shirt, whilst the ‘le coq sportif’ logo and long-established Everton badge are located to the top left and right respectively. Another new feature of the shirt is the double, emboldened, blue outline on the collar. This is also used on the sleeves and gives a professional look=2 0that Everton, as a fantastic club, deserve.
QUALITY
This shirt is very high in quality. It is comfortable, radiant and the material is of a superb standard. It is great for when playing football, or just to wear for leisure. The collar fits nicely around the neck and overall, this is a nicely fitting shirt. With the addition of Tim Cahill’s name and number on the back, this shirt is truly fantastic and is a piece of clothing offering so many positives.
VALUE FOR MONEY
The lettering and number on the back of the shirt is an exact replica of those worn in the Premier League and you can add the Premier League logo on the sleeve for just £5. This combined with the design and comfort of the shirt, provides a very lucrative proposition to Everton fans wanting to try and emulate one of their star players, in appearance and maybe even performance.
