Danubio are one of the largest teams in Uruguay having won the league title 3 times, the last of which in 2007.

Danubio have released 3 new football kits for the 2009-10 season. The kits are manufactured by Joma with their logo on the right chest and the club badge on the left.

All of the new Danubio Uruguay kits follow the same design of solid colour with white stripe running diagonally left shoulder to bottom right of the shirt. The Danubio home shirt is white with a black stripe, the new Danubio away shirt is black with a white stripe while the Danubio 3rd shirt is red with a white stripe.
