Partick Thistle are in their centenary year this year and they have released their new kit, which has a retro look, that they will wear for their centenary year.
The new Partick Thistle kit is manufactured by Puma but they have their logo in a slightly different shade of blue to the kit which makes the kit more like the retro design as it look as if there is no logo there.
The new Partick Thistle centenary kit is navy blue with a white collar and white ends on the sleeves. There is no sponsor in the middle of the shirt and the club badge is much bigger than normal.
Club Captain, Alan Archibald said: “Partick Thistle has a proud football heritage in this city and this strip, which the players have really taken to, is a great way of marking 100 years at Firhill.”
Sandy Greaves, managing director of Greaves Sports, said: “We were delighted to be able to help Partick Thistle celebrate this landmark occasion and we’ve had great feedback from supporters about the strip since it went on sale this morning.”
Allan Cowan, Partick Thistle chairman, added: “This is a proud day for the club and the centenary strip will only add to the sense of special occasion tomorrow.”
