Mozambique have managed to qualify for the 2010 African Nations Cup after failing to qualify for the tournament since 1998. Mozambique have failed to get past the first round of the competition but are hoping to do better this time around.

Due to their participation in the African Nations Cup Mozambique have released new home and away football shirts for the competition. Puma are the shirt manufacturers with their logo in the centre of the chest and on each shoulder.

The new Mozambique home shirt is yellow with black detailing on the collar and sleeves whereas the new Mozambique away shirt is red with black detailing on the sleeves.
