Egypt are the most successful country to participate in the African Nations Cup having won the tournament 6 times. Egypt are the current champions and are one of the favourites for the 2010 tournament.

Due to their participation in the African Nations Cup next year Egypt have released a new football kits for the tournament. Puma will manufacture the new Egypt kits with their logo appearing in the centre of the chest and on each sleeve.

The new Egypt home shirt is red with black detailing in the end of the sleeves and it has the stars from the countries badge on the right shoulder. Then new Egypt away shirt is a gold colour with red and white vertical stripes.
