Carlsberg have sponsored Liverpool since 1992 but as of next season Standard Charter will be the new shirt sponsors for Liverpool.

The new Liverpool home shirt, the first to be released with the new sponsor, is set to be launched by Adidas on the 8th of April. As you would expect there has been a lot of speculation over what the new shirt will look like and now we only have a week to go and the shirt will be unveiled.

The new Liverpool home shirt will be worn until the 2012 season and the new sponsorship deal is a real change for Liverpool and many fans will be sad to see the Carlsberg logo go.
