Aberdeen will have a new manager for the 2009-10 season after the departure of boss Jimmy Calderwood earlier this week. There will also be a new Aberdeen home shirt which the club revealed on the website today.

Modelled by Zander Diamond, Nike have come up with a slick looking design for the Aberdeen football kit, which is sponsored by Team Recruitment.

The Aberdeen home kit is red and has white pinstripes running horizontaly around the shirt. It will be worn with red shorts and red football socks.

Fans can now pre-order the shirt and it will be available to buy from Thrsday 11th of June.
