The 08-09 season saw Manchester United take part in the World Cup Championship in Japan which from which they emerged victorious. This shirt, manufactured by Nike is a very nice souvenir to commemorate the occasion with the sleeve and chest patches that it has attached to it. It is quite a streamline slim looking shirt, and has a tidy v neck which adds to the look. I think this shirt looks equally nice in long sleeves as well. The Manchester United away shirts do tend to change colour from time to time but I think this shirt which is predominantly white with a blue trim is a very good looking example of a football shirt. During the season you will have seen this worn by top names in world football such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Tevez, Berbatov, Giggs, Ferdinand and Scholes.

This Manchester United football shirt is a special limited edition which will no doubt increase in value in years to come, especially if has an official name and number set printed on the back. My choice would be Cristiano Ronaldo, as he is a very skilful player, hence why he has won so many awards in the last few years. Manchester United, also known as the Red Devils have been the dominant force in domestic football in recent times, playing some excellent football and winning titles and trophies while also reaching more cup finals which they have been unlucky not to be victorious in. It will be interesting to see how they do in years to come with the departures of Ronaldo and Tevez, but no doubt Sir Alex Ferguson will have something up his sleeve in an attempt to keep the silverware coming in.
