Arsenal FC are a successful football club located in the North part of London. They are sometimes given the nick names of both “The Gunners” and occasionally “The Arsenal”.

Arsenal play in the English Premier League and finished last year’s campaign in 4th behind Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea. Arsenal play all their home games at The Emirates Stadium, which is a 60,000 seated stadium. The Stadium is given the nickname “The Emirates” by supporters and players alike.

Arsenal have won many honours. There domestic honours include 13 top division titles, which include 3 Premier League trophies, 10 FA Cup victories, 2 League Cup crowns and 12 Charity Shield wins.

On a European level Arsenal are regarded as one of the big teams in Europe, however their European successes do not reflect this at all well, having only won 1 Cup Winners cup. However Arsenal where close Champions League Runners up in 2006 to FC Barcelona, only narrowly in the final moments. It surely wont be long before Arsenal pick up their First Champions League trophy as they have been looking strong in European competition in recent years.

The Arsenal home kit features a mainly red design; however have white strips down both sides of the shirt and the same down the sleeves. The Shirt features the famous Nike tick in white, to the wearer’s right, and on the wearers left the famous arsenal badge. The Shirt makes use of the Nike fit technology which allows players to keep cool whilst working hard on the football pitch.

Overall I think this is a nice shirt design in which the Arsenal team will look very good in, in the coming season. With the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Robin Van Persie and many more featuring in this shirt, its bound to be a hit with the supporters.
