Both Ajax and AZ Alkmaar replaced their normal sponsorship in the centre of their shirt at the weekend with the account number for the Haiti appeal. Ajax and Alkmaar are not the only teams to lend their support to the appeal but with the permission of sponsors AEGON they were allowed to bring greater attention to the appeal by replacing their normal sponsorship.

It has been a couple of weeks now since the Haiti disaster but it looks like more support is needed so we are likely to see more high profile appeals and exposure for the appeal.
