The new French Ligue 1 season starts in the next few months with a new away shirt for Paris Saint Germain. I have to say I do like the new Nike shirts coming out this season as they offer nice and trendy designs that have not been done before and this is another example. This shirt is mainly white which is PSG’s traditional away colour but as an added to they have added polka dots in red and blue which are PSG’s other colours. This shirt may not be to everyone’s taste but I really like it and I will probably buy it myself at some point even though I am not a particularly big PSG fan. The PSG home shirt is mainly blue with a red stripe going down the middle and this shirt is a very nice contrast to that one in my opinion.

PSG did not have the best of seasons last time around, flirting with relegation for the majority of the season but they managed to just avoid the drop with two wins in their last two games. I personally expect them to do better in the new season particularly if they can keep hold of their big names like Sakho, Giuly and Kezman. Another bonus for them is that Makalele has spoken out that he will be staying for another year. His experience could be vital if they are to climb up the league ladder.

When you purchase the new Paris Saint Germain football shirt there is always the option of adding a name and number to it, which I think that it adds a bit of authenticity to the item. Myself if I had to chose I would probably go for a former player, Ronaldinho. However there are other ex players who might take your fancy, such as Weah, Anelka, Leonardo and Rai.
