Birmingham Extend Shirt Sponsors Deal

Birmingham City have announced a two year extension to their kit sponsorship deal with current sponsors F&C Investments. The company will continue to sponsor the Birmingham football kits until the end of the 2010/11 season.

F&C Investments, one of the leading investment management in the UK, began their partnership with the Blues in 2007. They have seen a growth in their brand awareness both in the UK and globally year on year since then.

Karren Brady, Managing Director of Birmingham City Football Club, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to maintain F&C Investments as our principal sponsor for a further two years. “The deal underlines the excellent relationship we have forged together over the last few years and represents F&C’s faith in the Birmingham City brand.

Birmingham will be hoping that their new 2009-10 football kits will be worn in the English Premiership although they face a nervy run in to the Championship season to make that dream a reality.

John Yule, Head of UK Retail at F&C, said:

“We are delighted to renew our sponsorship agreement with Birmingham City FC. Working with the Blues has helped raise our profile in the Midlands and throughout the UK, through community initiatives, client hospitality and the high profile nature of top flight football.
