The Scottish FA are currently looking for a new manufacturer for the Scotland football kits after shirt sponsors Diadora were forced into administration.
The Italian sportswear company - who also make the national team kits for Liberia, Malta, Myanmar, and Syria - are having their assets taken over by shoe-makers GEOX after falling into financial turmoil.
A spokesman for the Scottish FA said:
“Obviously, we’ve been made aware that Diadora UK has gone into receivership.”
“We have an agreement with Diadora that takes us through to the end of the World Cup campaign, so Scotland will still play the next few games in the current home kit.”
“We’re in a good position because Scotland fans are extremely loyal to their national team and buy the shirts in huge numbers.”
“We’re an attractive proposition to other companies and are very confident this will be sorted out.”
“It’s a shame for the guys at Diadora, who have been great partners with us over the past six years.”
