Apoel Nicosia are the most successful team in Cypriot football with 2o league wins and 19 cup wins. The Cypriot team face Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and FC Porto in the Champions league this season so it is an uphill struggle for them to add the Champions League t their trophy haul.

Apeol Nicosia have released new kits for the 2009-10season. The new Apoel kits are manufactured by Lotto with the manufactures name and logo appearing in the centre of the shirt just below the collar.

The Apoel Nicosia home shirt is yellow with blue detailing on the collar and down the side of the shirts while the new Apoel Nicosia away shirt is orange with white detailing.
